Estelle Ohayon, co-founder

Estelle Ohayon has had a distinguished career in the art sector, starting in the esteemed secondary market for Old Masters before transitioning to contemporary art. Over the years, she has established strong relationships with artists around the world through her art concierge business, in which she offered her clients access to a diverse selection of global art.

In 2020, she partnered with NFT BAZL to curate the world’s first online marketplace for both digital and physical art. During her time as CEO and curator of NFT BAZL, she hosted many art events and was a guest speaker on several international panels, including Expo Dubai. After selling her shares in 2022, she returned to her initial passion as an art service provider and curator.

Ohayon’s creative persona led to her collaboration with several artists on Rêve de Moi—a groundbreaking exhibition of mixed media photography, featured in Harper’s Bazaar and photographed by Richard Bernardin. When war broke out in Israel on October 7, 2023, she felt a compelling need to help. She decided to reach out to her creative community through Instagram for artwork donations, and received an overwhelmingly positive response. By November, she was working with Sotheby's Miami to hold an Art for Peace event for Art Basel in Miami. Hosted by the Sagamore Hotel, the event drew significant support for Israel and raised $800,000 in artworks, leveraging Ohayon’s extensive art community network.

Currently, Ohayon is collaborating with Israeli art consultant Vered Gadish to assemble a curated selection of works by established Israeli artists that will be available online. The purpose for this project is to enhance the artists’ international exposure, and promote their talents. Ohayon’s mission is to spotlight Israel’s creative art community and raise awareness of its struggles, strengths, diversity, and immense talents on the global art scene.

Vered Gadish, co-founder

Vered Gadish is an experienced art consultant.  She established the Tel Aviv-based Fireflies Project art consulting agency in 2018. She has twenty-five years of experience in the art world, a BA in Art History from Tel Aviv University, and an MA in Art Management from New York University. In addition, she has served internships at MoMA and Guggenheim Museum in NYC.

For the past twenty-five years, Gadish has supported and facilitated, promoted, produced, curated, and installed art in numerous settings and venues, working closely with art collectors and artists. Consequently, she is well versed in the field’s inner workings and eminently equipped to offer art consulting to collectors, corporate organizations and art supporters, and to help plan the development of artists’ careers.

Gadish’s extensive experience includes curating the Doron Sebbag ORS Art Collection Ltd.; providing art consulting to the Art Partners Art Fund; co-founding and directing the philanthropic organization Outset Contemporary Art Fund, Israel; consulting to private and corporate clients; developing projects for the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, and more.

Fireflies Project is an art-consulting agency seeking to expand the influence, accessibility, and presence of contemporary art beyond traditional art spaces. Serving both individuals and corporate entities, FF works with a wide range of influential and talented artists. Additionally, it facilitates artistic development for selected artists by devising a bespoke working plan to suit their ambitions, projects, and initiatives.

Soon after October 7, 2023, Gadish devoted her time to bringing funds to local Israeli art through purchases and support. Art Initiative IL, which she has recently co-founded  together with Estelle Ohayon, is an organic extension of her efforts to enhance the exposure, engagement, and funding of excellent contemporary Israeli art.
